Trevor’s Blue Toucan Caribbean Restaurant was born of Executive Chef Trevor Dixon’s desire to present a unique combination of tastes to lovers of both Caribbean and American cuisines.  Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Chef Trevor acquired his exceptional culinary skill during 30+ years experience, including in elite restaurants at exclusive Jamaican resorts, as a cruise line chef recruited to bring the first two Disney Cruise Line ships into service from Italy and, for over seven years, as the managing chef at the Atlantic Ocean Grille on the Cocoa Beach Pier.

Chef Trevor has created a menu that will satisfy all tastes, from “down-home” to gourmet.  (You may click here to print your own copy and, for your convenience, you may call in your order to 321-784-5300 or fax your order to 321-784-5510).  Any breakfast, lunch or dinner item, and daily specials – either to take out or dine in – are expertly prepared by Chef Trevor or his son, Chef David, and they will greet you in the warm Caribbean manner with their welcoming smiles and service.

When you step inside Trevor’s Blue Toucan Caribbean Restaurant you will enter into scenes of the Caribbean side of Costa Rica – but nestled into Cape Canaveral’s cozy Church Street Center at 8177 N. Atlantic Avenue!  Marine artist Wayne Ellis created the vibrant, whimsical-yet-lifelike murals of beautiful Costa Rican rain forest and shoreline, with native trees, flowers, waterfalls, animals and birds, including the rarely-sighted blue toucan….  Why Costa Rica, not Jamaica?  Chef Trevor and his wife, Siegrid Dixon, escape to their favorite vacation spot as often as possible, and they decided the serene surroundings would be a daily delight in which to work and in which their customers could relax as well.  The restaurant hours: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM Monday – Friday; closed Sunday.

Saturdays are special and the day to enjoy Trevor’s Famous Barbeque!  From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM every Saturday you will find Chef Trevor serving his deliciously seasoned pork, chicken or ribs, with homemade jerk or barbeque sauce and a variety of tasty sides and salads.   Y’all come for your weekly barbeque treat to take on a picnic, the beach or home!
